𝐂𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧 𝐧𝐚 𝐦𝐁𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐜𝐆𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐩
On Tuesday our school GAA team won South Armagh Malachy McGeeney Cup
School Blitz and now go onto School Finals Day in Athletic Grounds in Armagh on Wednesday 1st May.
This is an amazing achievement for our boys and indeed our whole school community.
On the day we played St. Michael’s, Newtown, St. Laurence O’Toole’s, Belleek, St. Malachy’s, Ballymoyer, St. Oliver’s, Carrickovaddy and St. Teresa’s, Tullyherron. Each of our matches was very keenly contested and a great exhibition of GAA throughout. Well done to all teams and indeed our referees who ensured all games ran smoothly.
Our team has worked hard to prepare for this led & coached by our two parents & coaches Declan & Philly with the help of other coaches throughout the year including Armagh GAA player Greg McCabe.
Our school is lucky to have such dedicated parents as Declan and Philly who work hard to promote and coach our National games in our school – their hard work has paid off!!
As we prepare for our trip to the Athletic Grounds, there will be sponsorship opportunities for any businesses who would like to offer their support to the team ahead of their big day. All support welcome!
